You are warmly welcomed to a Christ-centered, caring community where all are valued, and everyone belongs. At Holy Trinity CSI Church in Washington, D.C., you will experience a fellowship grounded in faith, love, and openness—a space where you can grow spiritually and feel at home.

Rev. Joby Joy, the founding priest and honorary Vicar of this church, began his professional journey as a mathematics teacher and later served in the Treasury Department as a government employee. In 2006, he responded to God’s call to full-time ministry through the CSI Madhya Kerala Diocese. You would have seen him serve faithfully at CSI Christ Church, Mavelikara (2006–07), and St. Paul’s CSI Church, Vellasserry (2007–08), before pursuing theological studies at the United Theological College, Bangalore, where he completed his B.D. in 2012 with the highest aggregate and first rank.

His ministry in the United States began at Immanuel CSI Church, Elizabeth, New Jersey (2017–21). He also served as the National CSI Youth Coordinator (2018–21) and Vice President of the Council of CSI Congregations in North America (2020–21), and ministered at Christ Church of Connecticut (2020–22), CSI congregations in Florida, and Holy Trinity CSI Church in Washington, D.C.

Rev. Joby Joy earned his S.T.M. in Hebrew Bible from Union Theological Seminary, Columbia University (2019–20), and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Hebrew Bible at the Graduate Theological Union, Berkeley, California.

Through his vision and leadership, Holy Trinity CSI Church—founded in November 2019—continues to be a church with open doors and open hearts, reflecting the vision of a borderless church: the body of Christ. Here, you are invited to join a journey of faith where your story matters and your presence is a blessing.
